Top 3 strategies to get super organised

Ever feel like you're juggling more balls than a circus performer? You're not alone. And also, it doesn’t mean you’re disorganised!

I hear from coaching clients all the time that they feel they must be disorganised because nothing ever seems to run smoothly. But before we get into strategies to help with this, can we acknowledge that you’re probably trying to juggle 40 times more than the average person! Cut yourself some slack because I’m certain you’re already doing an incredible job.

But if you’re fed up with that feeling of being disorganised and are ready to step into a more streamlined life, I’ve got 3 strategies I swear by.

1. Have a reset day.

Having a reset process is a game-changer. It allows you to draw a line in the sand and start fresh. I personally swear by a Sunday Reset. It's a day with a bit of breathing space, where I can tidy up, prioritise my inbox, and plan my week ahead. It helps me feel like I’m starting Monday with a clean slate and a clear mind.

2. Commit to ONE calendar system

Drowning in a sea of sticky notes and multiple calendar apps? Pick one calendar system and commit to it. Whether it's a trusty paper diary or a digital calendar, make it the single source of truth for all your appointments, deadlines, and flamingo time (that's my code for fun!). Colour-code your commitments to quickly gauge if you've got a balanced week or if you're heading for burnout.

3. Streamline your to-do list

Find a to-do list system that lets you prioritise easily. Stick to three main tasks a day to keep it doable. Nail those, and you'll not only feel like you’re winning, but you'll also reclaim control over your day. If you catch yourself scribbling reminders on your palm → it's time to get back to that list! (You can get a copy of the to-do list template I use right here.)

I’d love you to try out one or all of these strategies and see what works for you. I promise they’ll help you feel so much more organised and like you are getting your life together, which means you’ll have more time in life for the things that really matter.
